End Of Days by Susan Ee

Things got pretty… apocalyptic in this final instalment. The pace of this trilogy is unlike any other book I’ve read. The chapters are short but so much gets packed into them. This book took us to hell and back (literally) and was full of action. Penryn and Raffe were ridiculous and adorable. I savoured every cute moment as they were few and far between in World After. Dee and Dum were brilliant as always, the talent show a triumph. I was sad about Obi and even sympathetic towards Beliel, which surprised me. The ending was also a surprise, but I liked it. It was rather open-ended too. Is there definitely to be no more?

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
